How to know?

We’ve been talking about self-employment many times before here, and we understand there’s a common struggle for being happier at work, that’s why we‘re glad to provide you with some information so you can tell when it is the right time to leave your job, if you gave it a good thought already, and look after your dreams and independence.

As we said, the first thing to do is to think about it well. You must know why do you want to leave. If it’s because you’re suffering about something going on at your workplace, don’t doubt about it any longer. Also, you can always use a legal help, if we’re talking about abuse or sexual harassment, for example.

If you are just feeling stressed, it is expected that you feel down about your job. But in the other hand, if you want do be doing something else, fallow a dream, make more money, get to different places, be your own boss, change your environment, you can also consider this.

What would be your next step? How are you planning to get there? How much money do you need in the meanwhile? What may be the main obstacle? And more important: what does it take to make you feel absolutely happy?

But what are the signals that tell you to quit? Experts had said that a very simple one is that feeling of tiredness and boredom you get every morning as you get ready to go to work. Also, there are many people getting sick, physically sick, when they think about their jobs or as they work.

You might even feel underpaid, the company/people you work for is having financial/legal issues, you don’t get time enough to be at home and it affects your private life. Or you actually know more than your boss. Any of these motives are understandable.

So finally, if you’re confident now, you can think about your financial freedom and you must know: the world is full with opportunities.

We hope this information can help you, and we’d love to know about your experiences around this subject. Has this happened to you before? What did you do to get along with it?
